With our Team Fortress 2 team’s return to activity after their Christmas break, we can announce one change to our lineup with the addition of Tuomas “Punpu” Kunnamo, 19. Previously playing for Oslo Lions and Blood Pressure, Punpu knows our team already, being part of Team Finland which won the ETF2L Nations Cup. Considered one of the best soldiers in Europe, we couldn’t pass up on the opportunity to add another talented player to our lineup, which will be competing in Season 4 of both the ETF2L Premier Division and Enemy Down TF2 Premier League.

cc//TF2 adds Punpu
After recently removing our previous CounterStrike: Source lineup, Crack Clan is now able to announce their replacements. Previously known as Heroes, this all-star lineup was born out of the ashes of the Championship Gaming Series, with the aim of competing in the UKESA and at all the major European LAN events, which we will enable them to do. After deciding to remove our previous team we had hoped to add a UK team to our organization and as such had no hesitation about picking up Heroes knowing that a team of this calibre was available.
Richard “ritch” Gibbs & Lewis “Hughsy” Hughes both come from London Mint, whilst former fm! toxic pair Thomas “beta” Hanna & Jim “Mx” Smale had represented London Mint in Season 1, or been cited as a possible addition for next season respectively. The final member of the team Erik “HaZ” Holm is also no stranger to the players, playing for CGS rivals Stockholm Magnetik.
We would like to wish the team the best of luck and hope for a successful 2009 season.
Richard “ritch” Gibbs had the following to say on their move to Crack Clan:
“After searching for the right organisation for almost a month now we have finally found the organisation that we are completely happy to play for, Crack Clan. Everything has been smooth and everyone involved with Crack has been extremely helpful and answered any questions we have had. I believe 2009 will be a huge year for ourselves and Crack Clan - I am extremely excited about this whole new fresh start with a new organisation and some new players. We’ll be aiming to attend every LAN possible and get some great results. I want to thank the Crack Management for giving us this opportunity to be a part of this.”
Crack Clan CS:S is as follows:
Richard “ritch” Gibbs
Thomas “beta” Hanna
Erik “HaZ” Holm
Lewis “Hughsy” Hughes
Jim “Mx” Smale
Crack Clan announce that after joining us in September with the launch of our professional division that we are now removing our CounterStrike: Source team. Things were looking up after a poor performance at MaxLAN after the addition of Damien “MaleK” Marcel to the lineup, with the team reaching the latter stages of the Enemy Down Winter Eurokrieg and the Upper Bracket Final of the Clanbase EuroCup. Unfortunately internal complications have meant that more lineup changes would be required and this progress would have been lost. With the start of the 2009 season fast approaching Crack Clan are looking at it with an eager, optimistic eye and as such will be announcing our new CounterStrike: Source lineup in the next few days.
We would like to thank the players for their efforts and wish them good luck with their future projects.
Crack Clan CS:S was:
Marc “Virp” Corban - Team Manager
Kevin “Ex6TenZ” Droolans - Team Captain
Floran “crZ” Thoumelin
Ludovic “Shokkk” Martin
Thibaud “Tac” Laganne
Damien “MaleK” Marcel
cc//cod4 at The Gameland
This weekend Crack Clan’s Call of Duty 4 team will be competing at The Gameland LAN in the Auditorium Parco della Musica in the North of Rome, Italy. With 32 of the top European & Italian teams in attendance and competing for a part of €13,300, our side will have their work cut-out, especially as last minute problems have meant that Tigii is unable to attend the event. Thankfully, Reason Gaming have allowed us to use RaigeKi at this event as we look for a podium finish. €6000 is on offer for first place, and we will be competing with the likes of Team Dignitas, ButtonBashers and eSuba for the title.

This competition is coming to an end with our very own Crack Clan facing off against 4Kings to grab the winning spot during the Grand Final on Tuesday November 25th, 2008. You’ll be able to tune in to ETF2L radio or watch the SourceTV and watch what promises to be an outstanding match full of exciting moments. You can also head to the cadred.org news post or the enemy down announcement page to see what kind of comments are being thrown about. Good luck to all on Tuesday!
After picking up the former Epsilon CounterStrike: Source squad with the launch of our professional division in September 2009 and a disappointing performance at MaxLAN, we have decided that it is now the time to make a roster change with the view towards the 2009 LAN season. We are pleased to announce the addition of Damien “Malek” Marcel to our line-up. Coming from H2k-Gaming, Malek, 22, was part of their lineup with current Crack Clan player crZ which placed 2nd at Lan79. We also have to announce the departure of Vincent “EMSTQD” Cervoni, who is unable to dedicate the time required by the team to prepare for the upcoming season. We would like to wish EMSTQD the best of luck with his future endevours and hope for many successes with Malek!
Team Manager Marc “Virp” Corban:
“After two long and great years of co-operation with Vincent “EMSTQD” Cervoni we have decided to stop our adventure with him because of his schedule which could no longer work with the team. Our disappointing result at MaxLAN was a collective failure and the reason for his departure has no link to our result there. We wish him good luck for his eSport career. We are pleased to announce the addition of Damien “Malek” Marcel to our team! Malek is an idiomatic player in the French CSS scene, and was instrumental in H2k’s amazing season where they placed 1st in EMS I and 2nd at Lan79. His experience and his talent will be beneficial for us. We now have a few months in order to prepare ourselves for the 2009 LAN season.”
cc//L4D Launch Party
Some of us have been excitedly awaiting the full release of this title especially since wearing the demo ragged and torn through all scenarios on all difficulty settings with a different mix of players several times over. Though the title might not be what everyone is looking for in a video game we’ve got a surprising amount of interest (and even converts who hated it but were won over by the demo), enough such that we are planning a day-long release party to satisfy the ghoulish itch that the demo planted on us. Release day will feature several organized cc//L4D events arranged both via the in-game matchmaker and our dedicated server which will host more controlled, private affairs. There might be some random giveaways as well - so don’t delay, calling all casual, amateur and professional Crack Clan members: hop on in to our Ventrilo on release day and enter the L4D channels to get matched up and enjoy the title as it’s meant to be enjoyed! See you there!
We have a big fixture list this week with the team looking to get some wins in after their 5th/6th place finish at MaxLAN.
